CD34 TEST

Power-Stem Biomedical Research Laboratory

Professional CD34 Test

Different types of blood cells (specifically white blood cells) can be identified by the proteins on their surface. Those proteins are called antigens. CD34 is an antigen on the surface of a very early blood cell that is important in the formation of the bone marrow. Regenerative Medical Physicians often check the number of CD34 cells when they try to assess the ability of the bone marrow to recover, or when they collect those cells for Stem Cell Transplant CD34+ cell number can also be tested on a bone marrow sample.
